Re: RPT file and displacement plot have different values
Actually, Even when the rigid links and mass are removed, the MAX_DISP_Y still shows the MINIMUM Y So you can follow: Case Details: 13050900

Ah, thanks Charles - good investigation. In fact, I think you've picked up on my main error, which was simply that I should have been looking for MinR, not max, as the displacement is expected to be...

It was either that or do some work. It piqued my interest as measure outputs are fundamental bread and butter outputs and are used as part of QA. After looking at Matthew Parmenteri's question RPT file...

It is not possible to have an "open" belt in MDX/MDO. This has been a long-standing request to PTC and something many people can use. It would be nice to see PTC spend our maintenance payments on...
View ArticleRe: BELT CONNECTION BUT OPEN FOR MECHANISM
Christopher, I fully agree. Furthermore, it's not only the open belt which is missing - even the closed belt functionality is not sufficient for a usual MDO Analysis, since it does not take into...

Roland, You are correct, IoT is the "shiny ball" PTC is chasing now and using our maintenance money to fund. I can't help but think that if we all together stopped paying maintenance, it would finally...

Sandeep, There is a separation measure for which the evaluation measure can be 'minimum'. Vertices are required Although using it effectively may not be as straight forward as first appears. Often one...

that looks like 'simulate lite' your options are very very limited starting with maximum of 200 surfaces and absolutely no good for non-linear of any kind. you would probably need the advanced license.

You don't have to open the model in order to see the results once you've made the runs. You can go directly to the results from the Creo GUI. I can show you a screenshot of this on Tuesday.
