Re: how to find BELD Tension...???
There is no way to do this currently. The belt feature is nearly useless as a result. Please upvote my suggestion to add this capability: Tension Measurement for Belts

Hi! I am going to use Creo Simulate on an assembly model that contains parts that will change slightly during the design process but still not change in such ways that it will affect anything in the...

If I understand the question correctly, I think you can do what you want with a family table in the assembly. (1) Set up the family table via the "Tools->Family Table", then add some instances via...

Hi Allim having a problem creating a mechanism. it consists of a worm driven gear mounted on a shaft, that turns a screw which should force a collar to travel linearly. i have the worm gear drive set...

You need a constraint that also keeps the cylinder from rotating, at least I'm assuming that's what is happening in the video. I'm assuming the slot on the tube has something that rides in it that...
View ArticleRe: Mechanism problem
There are a number of ways to do this. I tend to make linkages between elements when I can but when I cannot, I drive additional servos. In this case, just make a generic gear connection between either...

in creo simulate, optiization design, can we obtain pressure (load) vs displacement graph??
View ArticleRe: Mechanism problem
Yes that is what im aiming for, sorry about the rubbish quality, it was the best way i could record it at the time. There is a key at the end of the tube that will ride along a channel in a housing, i...

It's been my experience you want to keep the references within the constraint sets elements to be to the same components or assemblies. Assuming the shaft axis is on the assembly fixed planes, I would...

I have a model but i want to split it in half, becase i would have then a half less finite elements. It is symetrical model. Can anyone help me?

You may have a symmetrical model, but how is the model loaded for simulation?

You probably need to use a rigid (or weighted) link to connect the rotating point to your solid geometry.Enforced displacement, tangential direction, more than 1 revolution
