Relation issue
Can anyone help me with this error. Can't seem to find a solution for it..

View ArticleRe: Connection/Idealization in Modal Analysis
If I go with this beam model, I would have all rotations released on both ends... I don't really see a reason to release both end, but if you do make sure you have rigid mode search on for the modal...
View ArticleRe: Connection/Idealization in Modal Analysis
I'm not sure if its a contradictory condition, or just one that can't be defined in creo. As I calculate it, the beam model would have 1 rotational degrees of freedom (fixed to WCS) around its axis,...

Thanks for the model! I've always avoided shell models because it has never made 100% sense to me, but im starting to understand it more given that my model has been converted. Thanks! Funnily enough,...
View ArticleRe: Connection/Idealization in Modal Analysis
I think this model does what you describe... The beam is now divided in two, and the midpoint is constrained so that is is free to move in x-, y- and z directions, but restricted from rotating.
View ArticleRe: Simulation License Error
Hello Kishan, missing license error can have a lot of causes. The most obvious is that you don't have the license required or that all those licenses are used already by someone else. Have you followed...

Adam, is this about Windchill PDMLink?Your post is currently under the product Creo Simulate, which would explain the poor response. Gunter

I am not sure I understand correctly:Are you trying to run an optimization on each load iteration of the LDA? Usually the parameters to optimize are design parameters are optimized for the full...

I couldn't find reports about this limitation in our database. Should probably investigated.Have you received any info in the message lin, telling you that only 100 results are exported? Does anyone...

Hello All,I am trying to find an easy way to export measures for each time step in a non-linear analysis. For instance, I have 5 time steps, and I want the measures for each time step, so they can be...
View ArticleRe: Compiled Measures Data at Each Time Step
If this is a motion analysis, you can do a measure over time and output this to a graph, which can be output to a delimited text file.
View ArticleRe: Can an optimization analysis take LDA´s "user defined output steps"...
Thanks for your feedback. In some cases yes. The optimization needs to act at a determined step. In some non-linear mechanical system some parameters (ex. resulting force, tilts, stress, etc.) will...
View ArticleRe: Is export graph to Excel limited to 100 points in Creo Simulate?
No, there was no warning that the 100 first points are the limit. I found this issue only after exporting a transient analysis graph. Creo 2 Thermal was exporting only the 1st 100 points independently...

I am a bit new to this. However we are in the same boat. I am running an analysis on a silicone seal which obviouslly has a very large deformation (non-linear). The seal material is also non-linear and...
