Here's a common problem we've seen over many years when trying to analyze fasteners going through two tubes (image below). The outer tube rotates around the inner tube. This problem would not work, for now, the way I have it set up in Creo Simulate using advanced fasteners. I think I might start this as a new discussion to try and develop the best method to analyze this type of problem. I think you stated you would use beam elements, point-to-point and then connect the ends of the beams with rigid links to surface regions.
